Workspace Home

Home is the active workspace dashboard. It combines a conversation launcher with useful signals from the workspace, rather than being a separate storage area.

Start work from the composer

The floating composer opens Copilot with the active workspace as context. You can send a normal prompt, choose an agent, attach files, or open the full AI panel. The dashboard itself remains available behind the panel.

Empty-workspace setup

When the resource tree is empty, Home shows a setup panel only to workspace Editors and Admins. It creates a starter document, table, or artifact and links to AI setup, external connections, and member invitations.

Dismissal and completed setup steps are stored locally per user and workspace. The panel is not a shared checklist and does not appear to viewers.

Workspace signals

  • Reminders show unread agent-attention notifications for this workspace. Opening or dismissing one marks the same notification read everywhere.

  • Pins are shared workspace shortcuts chosen and ordered by admins; a pin does not grant access to a private resource.

  • Recent lists resources you personally opened most recently, excluding archived and trashed entries.

  • Activity is a live, paginated feed of resource, sharing, publishing, comment, agent, MCP, and system events.

  • Agents & connections summarizes installed agents, MCP connectors, and external connections. Agent rows include their latest run state.

The member-management card is visible only to workspace admins. Organization workspaces may also show a Knowledge Graph overview when the organization has enabled that feature.

Keep Home useful

Pin the few resources the team repeatedly needs, resolve agent-attention reminders, and use the activity feed to catch up after time away. Use the sidebar for structural navigation and tags for cross-cutting classification.
