Start a conversation
Open a direct message, group conversation, or workspace channel. Write the message, mention the relevant person or agent, and add enough context for others to respond.
Use threads
Reply in a thread when the discussion belongs to one question, decision, or task. Threads make it easier to find the conclusion without mixing it with unrelated messages.
Work with agents
Mention or select an agent when you want it to respond. The agent's result returns to the same conversation so people can review it and continue the discussion.
Workspace channels
A workspace channel is shared by people who have access to that workspace. It does not make the workspace public. Use workspace roles and channel membership to control who can participate.
Good message habits
Include the desired outcome and relevant resource links.
Use a thread for follow-up questions.
Confirm important decisions in the resource or tracker where the team keeps final state.
