Search helps you find workspace content by exact words, related meaning, and connected entities.
How search works
Dokki combines keyword search and semantic retrieval across resources you can access. Documents, tables, and supported uploaded files can be indexed. Deleted resources, archived workspaces, and resources you cannot access are filtered out.
Where search appears
Use search from the workspace UI, Copilot, agents, and MCP clients. Copilot can combine search with document reads, table reads, file context, and tool calls when it needs more detail.
Workspace and organization scope
Normal search is scoped to the current workspace or the set of workspaces the feature is explicitly searching. Organization features can add organization-wide context when the user has access.
Knowledge Graph
Organizations can enable an experimental Knowledge Graph. The graph extracts entities and relationships from documents, tables, and artifacts, then uses those connections to boost hybrid search and power related entity tools. Personal workspaces do not use the graph.
Private and restricted resources
Search respects permissions. Private resources do not leak content to people, agents, or MCP clients that cannot access them. Some tools may show limited restricted metadata only when that is necessary to explain that a private result exists.
