Connect an MCP client when you want an external AI tool to work directly with a Dokki workspace.
Typical clients
Use this flow for tools such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, or any client that supports remote MCP servers.
Quick connection
Create or copy a workspace MCP endpoint from Dokki, then add it to your client. The client can use the tools allowed by that endpoint and credential.
What the client can do
Depending on the configured tools, an external client can:
Search the workspace.
Read documents, tables, artifacts, and files it can access.
Request rendered previews through preview_resource.
Create or update workspace resources.
Use related_entities when Knowledge Graph is enabled.
Keep credentials scoped
Create separate credentials for different clients or automation jobs. Revoke credentials you no longer use, especially if they were copied into local config files or CI systems.
