Anything an agent does is a run. A run can start from chat, a manual action, an external trigger, or a schedule.
Chat runs
Open an agent and chat with it directly, or include the agent in a Dokki chat. The agent can answer, ask for clarification, use tools, or create follow-up work depending on its setup.
Scheduled runs
Schedules let an agent repeat work: daily summaries, weekly reviews, recurring research, stale-document checks, or reminders. Scheduled runs are skipped when the workspace is archived.
Reviewing runs
Runs keep their messages, tool calls, and results so you can inspect what happened. Use the run history to debug instructions, understand a decision, or continue a thread.
Notifications
Agents can notify you when they need attention, when a run completes with something important, or when a scheduled workflow needs review. These notifications appear in the notification center and may also surface on Home.
