This page is the entry point for problems. Each section starts from what you see, lists what to check in order, then says what to do when those checks do not help. It covers the problems people hit most often; every section links to the page that explains the feature in full.
Search does not find something you know exists
Wait a few minutes if the content was just imported or just created. Newly added content can take a short time to appear.
Search for a distinctive word from the title, a customer name, or a project phrase instead of a general phrase.
Remove or widen filters. A filter on resource type or workspace silently excludes results.
Ask the owner whether the resource is private. Search follows your access, and a result does not make a restricted resource available.
If it still fails, ask the owner to share the resource with you, then search again. Full detail: Search Your Workspace.
An import item failed
Open the results view of the import. Each item shows whether it is waiting, importing, complete, or failed, and a failed item carries its own error.
Read the error before retrying. Re-running the whole import while items are still arriving creates duplicates.
If the error says the connection is no longer authorized, reconnect that source under Manage sources, then run the failed items again.
If the error concerns the destination, check that you can edit the folder you chose.
If the same item keeps failing, bring that one item over by hand and import it on its own. Full detail: Import and Export.
A change is missing from the published page
Check the resource status under Content. Updated means the workspace copy changed after the last publish.
Publish it again, or choose Commit when the resource is already on the site. Saving in the workspace does not change the public page.
Reload the public page in a private window to rule out a cached copy.
If the status reads Unknown, retry the status check before publishing or removing anything.
If the page is published but missing from navigation, review the listing and navigation settings. Full detail: Publish.
A button you expect is missing
Check your workspace role. Viewers cannot publish, invite people, or change workspace settings; Editors and Admins can.
Check whether the setting lives on the resource rather than the workspace. Sharing, for example, is set on the resource.
If you are an Admin and the button is still absent, reload the workspace before assuming it is gone.
If your role does not allow the action and you need it, ask a workspace admin to raise your role or run the action. Full detail: How Permissions Are Decided and Members & Roles.
You deleted something by accident
Open Trash in the workspace. A deleted resource goes there first rather than straight out of the workspace.
Select the root of what you deleted and restore it. Restoring a folder root brings its contents back with it, and a child on its own cannot be restored. Trash keeps deleted items for 30 days, and each item shows when it expires.
If it is no longer in Trash, check version history for an earlier copy. Full detail: Trash and Restore.
A table shows rows you did not expect
Look for an active filter. A filter hides rows; it does not delete them.
Check the sort. A table sorts on one column at a time, so a second sort replaces the first.
Compare the view you are in with another view of the same table. Views can carry their own filters.
If rows are genuinely gone, open version history for the table before typing them back in. Full detail: Filters and Sort.
What to include when you ask for help
Send the page address, what you did just before the problem, what you expected, and what you saw instead. A screenshot of the message is more useful than a description of it.
