Free vs Team
Free workspace — the owner plus up to 3 collaborators, anyone, at no cost. Plenty for a small group.
Team workspace — a shared space with central billing, admin controls, and sponsored seats that cover collaborators who don't have their own subscription.
How Team seats work
A $20 / month base price includes 10 sponsored seats.
Additional sponsored seats are $2 each, with no upper limit — add them as the team grows.
A sponsored seat lets someone collaborate as a full writer without their own Pro or Max plan.
Members who already have Pro or Max collaborate at no seat cost — their own plan covers them.
Billing & admin
One workspace, one invoice — billed monthly through Stripe.
Admins manage members, roles, and seats from Settings → Members and Settings → Subscription.
AI usage is still metered per person on their own plan. Team covers collaboration (seats), not AI allowance — see [Pricing & Plans] for how AI usage works.
