Written out for PRISM, the launch of Collection 04 for Halden, a fictional outerwear label: a campaign brief, three creative directions with their rationale and the decision, and a key visual spec with the grid, type pairing, safe areas and a layout rule for every ratio. Size adaptations tracks twelve sizes, from a 9:16 story to a 728 × 90 banner and an A1 poster, as a board by status; Moodboard references and Feedback log hold what each direction draws on and every client comment by round. Key visual board shows the master and a frame for every size, re-composed for its ratio, with the safe zones a click away. The Art Director runs the directions and the feedback, the Visual Designer makes the master, the Adaptation Designer takes it to every size, and the Copywriter fits a line to each one.

First thing to try· About 30 minutes

Make three key visual directions for the new collection

Put your own product and launch into the Campaign brief, then ask the Art Director: “Make three key visual directions for the new collection, then adapt the chosen one to 12 sizes.”

You will know it worked when

Three creative directions holds three different directions with rationale and a recommendation, each with references in Moodboard references; after you pick one, Size adaptations lists 12 sizes moving through their statuses and Key visual board shows a frame for every one.
