This workspace keeps the roadmap honest: every feature carries a RICE score, and every piece of customer feedback points at the feature that answers it.
How it works
•Roadmap holds one row per feature: status, quarter, teams, launch date and the four RICE inputs.
•Feedback holds one row per piece of feedback: where it came from, the customer, its theme and the feature it is linked to.
•Open Roadmap and switch to Kanban to see features by status, or to Calendar to see launch dates.
How the score works
Score = Reach × Impact × (Confidence ÷ 100) ÷ Effort. The table does not calculate it: the Product Planner does, and writes the result into Score.
•Reach: people or accounts the feature touches in a quarter.
•Impact: 3 = high, 2 = medium, 1 = low.
•Confidence %: 100 when data backs it, 80 with some evidence, 50 for a hunch.
•Effort: person-weeks, across every team involved.
Every week
Add feedback to Feedback as it arrives, with its source and customer.
Ask the Feedback Analyst to sort the new feedback and update the Feedback digest.
Ask the Product Planner to rescore the roadmap, then discuss any feature whose rank and status disagree.
When a feature ships, add it to Release notes and tell the customers who asked for it.
Starting a new feature
Give the Product Planner your raw notes and ask for a PRD. It follows the PRD template in Templates. For the engineering design, use the Tech spec template.
