Inline-level formatting and the AI tools that show up while you're writing.

Inline formatting

Select any text to surface the floating toolbar:

Bold / Italic / Underline / Strikethrough
Inline code — monospace styling
Link — paste a URL or pick from a doc-mention
Text color — preset palette
Highlight — background color
Math — wrap selection in $ $
Convert to heading / list / quote — quick block-type switch

Keyboard shortcuts

More shortcuts (strikethrough, code, headings) are listed in the in-app shortcut sheet — open it from the question-mark menu in the bottom corner.

Copilot also works right where your cursor is — Selection AI, tab completion, and the inline `/ai` block. Those inline modes are covered in AI Copilot → Inline AI & Tab Complete.

Mentions

Type @ to mention something:

@<doc name> — link to another doc in your workspace
@<person> — mention a workspace member (sends them a notification)
@<date> — date picker; inserts a formatted date

Mentions are first-class — they update if the doc is renamed and surface in search.
